Greetings and welcome to "The Adjuster's"TM Webpage. My name is Dave Sawatzky and I am the inventor of "The Adjuster"TM, the only curling delivery stick with an adjustable head With today's market of various curling rock handles which vary in thickness, some curlers experience difficulties with their delivery sticks. The delivery sticks do not fit the curling rock handles properly, and subsequently affect their skill level and performance in delivering their rocks.

"The Adjuster"TM was first developed in early 2002 by David Sawatzky of West St. Paul, Manitoba. In the fall of 2001, David, who was an avid and competitive curler, found that due to arthritis, his left knee would not support him when sliding while delivering the curling rock. He did not want to give up curling, so he purchased a delivery stick which was on the market at that time.

He found out, however, when he entered the LARGEST Bonspiel in the world, the Manitoba Curling Association (M.C.A.), which is held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the delivery stick he was using would NOT FIT ALL THE HANDLES OF THE CURLING ROCKS he encountered. In the M.C.A. Bonspiel, you curl in many different curling clubs in Winnipeg and surrounding communities. As David found out, all curling rocks DO NOT have the same thickness of rock handles and the delivery stick that he was using would fit too tightly, or be very loose, making his rock delivery very erratic, which affected his skill level immensely. There are at least six (6) different sizes of curling rock handles out there.

Realizing that the delivery stick he was using, did not fulfill all his requirements in curling, he invented and developed a delivery stick with an adjustable head to fit these varying handles sizes.

"The Adjuster"TM can be adjusted quickly and easily to fit different curling rock handles. This allows you to curl with the same skill level in different curling clubs where the rock handles may very in thickness. Made of stainless steel, "The Adjuster"TM will not rust, break or shatter. "The Adjuster"TM is very light weight (lighter than some other delivery sticks on the market) and release of the curling rock is smooth and consistent.
